“If we are to turn the tide on our highly polarized and divisive political climate, we need more independent-minded leaders to step forward who will put results before politics and strive to unite our community behind a shared vision for prosperity.
I have spent my entire career in business and in service to my community and the Commonwealth solving problems without regard for political gain or consequence.
As a successful technologist with 28 patents, I have built a thriving business and created opportunity for hundreds of employees by tackling complex problems with innovative solutions. I brought that same approach to my service in Richmond, crafting a number of innovative solutions to fix our transportation crisis, save taxpayers millions of dollars, strengthen our schools, expand and improve STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) programs and ensure Virginians have access to our world-class institutions of higher learning.
I am committed to returning to elected public service to bring innovative thinking and an independent approach to the issues that affect Virginians’ quality of life. I will work to stabilize and reduce tolls, improve our transportation infrastructure, reduce congestion, strengthen our education system and boost our Northern Virginia economy.” – Joe May
